What are the signs that my water heater needs repair?

Common signs that your water heater may need repair include inconsistent water temperature, unusual noises coming from the tank, visible leaks or pooling water around the unit, and a noticeable drop in hot water pressure. If you experience any of these issues, it’s important to have your water heater inspected by a professional to prevent further damage or complete failure.

What factors should I consider when choosing a new water heater?

When choosing a new water heater, consider the size and capacity that fits your household needs, the energy efficiency rating to save on utility bills, and whether you want a traditional tank water heater or a tankless model for continuous hot water. Also, factor in the installation costs and any available warranties.

What Our Customers Are Saying

“Awesome customer service. We had our hot water tank replaced 2 days prior to vacation as it went out and I had no idea we had a gas leak after install we went on vacation. I set the water tank on vacation mode when we left. When we got home, I switched the tank back to hot mode. I smelled some gas and just figured when I turned the hot water tank back on it was just still breaking in as it was new. Me and my fiancé started experiencing headaches and increased fatigue and did not smell any gas after turning the water heater back on. Shamrock appliance was scheduled to repair our dishwasher after vacation. The technician came in the house and immediately smelled gas and traced it down to the hot water tank. He then turned the gas off and instructed us to open our windows and to have it repaired by the company who installed it, shamrock appliance saved our life. The technician also repaired the dishwasher and diagnosed the problem with the water dispenser on the refrigerator when another appliance repair company could not. I would highly recommend this company they are honest, reasonably priced and transparent.”

“This is the 3rd time I have called Shamrock. Always when they are going to be late for their appointment because of a job they are working on, they call and let you know. Shawn, the owner, has been here twice. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he explains the problem and gives you information about the service, what caused it, and other information concerning various problems or information about other issues with a particular brand. Always available to answer any questions you have. Just a fantastic company run with the customer in mind. It is so great to know that there are still people out there who care. I would highly recommend Shamrock for your appliance repair needs. Thanks!”
